Highlighting the Healthcare Challenges Faced in Remote Highlands Communities
While exploring the Eastern Highlands, Christopher found a new guesthouse located near the grounds of the famous Goroka Show. There, he met its owner, a devoted doctor who dedicates much of his time and personal resources to caring for patients who cannot afford medical treatment. Through their exchanges, Christopher witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by healthcare providers in remote regions, where medication and financial resources are often scarce.
